WHAT IS ESCAPE?

ESCAPE is the fun destination with exciting rides and activities…hosted with nature in mind. ESCAPE is not a simple question to answer, as ESCAPE is a tourist / leisure destination, mindset and a call to action. On a visible level, ESCAPE will be a world-class leisure and tourism destination that promotes eco-literacy in a fun and engaging manner. It is a new genre of amusement park. ESCAPE believes that it is time to play and we do that best in a place which gives fun with a bit of learning and challenges people of all ages to embrace that growing up is optional. With ESCAPE it is the natural environment that will create visitor interaction and through careful and considered placement of thought provoking attractions the visitor will be taken on a journey of environmental self-discovery.

WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of individuals who have been drawn together with the belief and passion that there’s more to entertainment that what is currently on offer. The facilitator in this is Sim Leisure, a Penang-based international theme park consultancy, designer, builder and operator. ESCAPE is all about bringing the family together in mutual enjoyment of nature and fun. Spending time together doesn’t necessarily mean being encapsulated in air-conditioned shopping malls or shutting oneself away in an electronic world. We wish to bring a significant tourist destination in the region and ESCAPE a higher purpose of bringing more economic benefit such as job creating and economic spin-off to Penang. ESCAPE is conscious that it must act responsibly. Responsible Tourism is not the easy path, but it is the one to be taken to give a positive experience to the local and international tourist along with the community hosting ESCAPE.
